Case Study Library
Imagine this scenario. You’re meeting with a prospective client. “Relationship systems coaching works”, you tell her confidently. Maybe she was referred to you by a trusted contact, so has faith in your word. But maybe not. “How do you know it’ll work for us?” she responds, somewhat sceptically. You smile. Reach into your briefcase. Pull out a folder. “Here are five cases studies I can share with you. The companies are similar to yours, and the clients had similar goals for their sessions. In each case, the company achieved hoped-for results. Not only that,” you add, “the case studies are used as a continuous improvement tool for coaches trained in relationship systems, so each one highlights lessons learned. I can refine my approach with your company, based on what has been learned elsewhere.”
To effectively market the relationship systems approach, you need evidence of success. And to improve our model, refine our curriculum and meet emerging needs, the Center for Right Relationship needs formal feedback. If the Center maintained a searchable database containing hundreds of case studies representing a diversity of organization types and goals, wouldn’t that be a fantastic sales tool for our graduates? If the case studies honestly presented outcomes and lessons learned, wouldn’t that be a valuable continuing education resource, both for grads and for the Center itself? And if every graduate of a relationship systems coaching program submitted a case study, wouldn’t that build deep democracy into our own system?
Welcome to the Center for Right Relationship’s Case Study Library.
The purpose of the library is to:
- provide practitioners with opportunities to share their experiences using ORSC tools and approaches
- develop a body of case studies for empirical research purposes
- foster practitioner dialogue, networking and support
We warmly invite all practitioners of relationship systems to draft a case study and submit it to the Center. At present we are planning to include case studies which make use of ORSC tools and approaches, along with links to the writer and a brief abstract of the case. As more cases are submitted we will organize them by type of case, tools used etc. Ultimately we will put the case studies on a members-only page of the Center’s web site.
If you are interested in submitting a case study or have ideas for optimizing the library’s utility, please contact Faith Fuller, Co-Director of the Center. We are excited about this opportunity to share knowledge and build “the case” for relationship systems coaching!
How do I write a case study?
